I'm lucky enough to be part of a great group of women who enjoy making quilts designed by Di Ford Hall. We get together once a week to stitch our quilts and enjoy each others' company. As most of the group met while making Di's quilt, Queen Mary of Bedford, the group call themselves the Queen Mary's. I was very lucky to be asked to join the group last year.
At our last Thursday's get together I was given three beautiful bee fabric fat quarters from Christa. I feel very lucky to have Christa as a friend, she is a very special and wonderful person.
Today is the very last chance to enter the giveaway on my last Monday's post. I wrote this blog post last night so Mr Random Number Generator will draw the winners at 5.00pm today and I'll put up a quick post tonight telling you who won. Good luck in the draw.
The moment I saw these adorable little bookmarks I knew I would have to share the LINK.
There's lots to see and do in lovely Warrandyte. I was heading out that way to have lunch with some lovely stitching friends so I thought I'd leave a bit early and pop into Bustle and Bows. Not that long ago they moved to Warrandyte and I hadn't been into the new location so it was lovely to have a look around.
You can find them at 260 Yarra Street Warrandyte Phone 98440588
My dear friend Christa gave me a pack of Hawthorn Ridge and I've decided to use it to make more hexies for my Di Ford Quilt. Aren't the included fabrics beautiful? they will go perfectly in my version of Rotherfields Greys.
It is always fabulous to pop on over to Samelia's Mum where gorgeous Anorina blogs and shares her considerable talents and creativity with us. Please follow this LINK to make this delightful EPP Kindle case.
Many thanks to Anorina.
Wishing you every happiness over the weekend.
See you on Monday when I'll announce the two winners of the cute animal panels in my giveaway.
There is still time to enter.
Just leave me a comment on last Monday's post to enter the draw. I'm happy to post anywhere in the world.
I love this project. I have a huge button collection so I plan to use some of my collection to make up this charming design. It is very kindly shared on Jolly Jabber from The Fat Quarter Shop. Please follow this LINK.
Have a wonderful day
and don't forget to enter my giveaway on Monday's post.
